PRAYER REQUESTS

NORTH AFRICA / MIDDLE EAST TEAMS
6.23.2022

• NA: Pray for safety for the team as they travel throughout the city to language class and to meet locals. (Deuteronomy 31:8)

• Pray for divine appointments as the team desires to be led by the Spirit during their time there.

• ME: Pray for the team as they travel to a new city and hope to connect with believers and share with locals.

• Pray for the team as they follow up with a cab driver who they got to share the good news with! Ask the Spirit to convict his heart so he could discover Jesus as the way, the truth and the life. (John 14:6)

• Pray for the health of the Frias family and Nic as they're getting over fever and sickness.

• Pray for fruitful conversations as they go out and share with some local believers. 

• Pray that the team can focus during their time there and wouldn't be distracted with things going on back home.

THE WELL MISSIONS

• Please pray for our North Africa team as they prepare to travel on Thursday (6/2).

• Please pray for our Middle East team as they prepare to go. They will be leaving June 18th. 

• Please pray for our Turkey team. They have returned safely and are processing all that God was doing during their time overseas. Pray that the Lord would continue to move in powerful ways through the long-term team there.

• Pray for a restaurant owner, the cousin of the team's host. He gladly took a Bible and wants to talk about it tonight. Pray that their conversations with him would be fruitful. 

• Please pray for the team's host as well as she also accepted a Bible.

• Pray that the Turkey team's host (a single mom with a 6 year old child) would accept a New Testament Bible from the team and would be open to having a long-term worker come visit.

• Pray that her mom’s knee would be healed. The team has been able to pray for her 3 times and had tea with her family tonight.

• They have arrived safe! They leave in the morning for the prayer city for 3 days. Prayer points from Bryan:

  • 2 Chronicles 6:32-33; Solomon asking God to hear the prayers of those outside of Israel.

  • Tyler: Pray for someone’s healing.

  • Daniel: Pray for a woman in a red head covering.

  • Vision for 1 million people to be affected by the gospel.

  • 2022 record for 19 teams as an answered prayer for the teams.

• Please pray for health and Will’s stomach (not doing great). Pray for words as they meet and share about God this week. Pray for the Lord to give them clarity as they engage in convos talking about vision for long term and what could be for the city and nations future.

BARCELONA

Church in Barcelona:

• Church Multiplication: One of the couples is in the process of starting a church in their home, please pray for a smooth transition and that they would feel equipped and not anxious and that they would be bold in starting it & for God to bless them in the process.

• Spiritual Growth: Please be praying for spiritual growth for the believers in the church 

• Lives Surrendered to Jesus: those who have been coming and who do not yet follow Jesus would choose to follow Him and give their lives to Christ.

Prayers for Barcelona/ Neighborhood (Raval):

• Lostness in our neighborhood: There is a lot of darkness i.e: homelessness, prostitution, drug addiction, tarot card readings, crystal/new age shops, etc. Please pray darkness would be pushed back. 

• Street Evangelism Time:  Please pray for the times they go out evangelizing in the streets and pray for people. Tuesdays at 1pm CST and Fridays at 8am CST to pray for open hearts and for movement of the Holy Spirit.

• Movement of the Holy Spirit: Please pray for more healings, miracles and movement of the Spirit & that God would show up in dreams and visions. They've seen people from unreached people groups having dreams about Jesus, so please pray for more of these for nonbelievers.

Personal Prayer Requests:

• Families Visiting this summer: Please pray that time will be fruitful with them and that they would encourage their families. This will be the first time they will be visiting in the three years that they've been overseas.

• Visa Process:  Please pray for favor with visa process.

• Pray for Sampa Church as they have moved to a new location. Pray that people would be able to travel to attend service by metro, bus or car. Pray that the new location would be a blessing to the area and God would draw people to Himself.

• Pray for Bob and Martha Robbin's to feel connected with community and for endurance and vision.

• Pray for IBTE and the children, that they would know that God is their Good Shepherd and Father. 

• Pray for IBTE leaders to be energized, filled with compassion and hope as well as endurance.

• Prayers for the safety and unity for the short-term team sent by The Well and that they their time would be refreshing and encouraging for the Robbins and their ministry. 

• Prayers for two close friends of the Robbins that are individually going through a loss of a family member and a sister with a cancer diagnosis.

• Prayers for the teenagers at the educational center, IBTE, that the Robbins partner with that they would return back to IBTE after getting in trouble and find refuge in Christ.
